About the JJJ

Jessica Blaylock covers the Jacksonville Jaguars for 1010XL.  From training camp to the last day of the season, Jessica is there, in the locker room, on the field, and at press conferences to make sure that you get the most up to date reports on what’s going on with your home team.

Jessica’s Jaguar Journal will have every thing from interviews, to reader polls, to Jessica’s thoughts, and more.  ANd best of all, you the reader get to play a part as well with polls as well as opportunity to give feedback.

After a thriving volleyball career at Terry Parker High School, Jessica Blaylock continued her education at the University of Florida where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in both Broadcast Journalism and History. After college, Blaylock worked for four years in operations for ESPN on the Thursday Night College Football show, Saturday Prime Time College Basketball show, and NASCAR.  This past year, she moved to Sun Sports/Fox Sports Florida as a sideline reporter, covering the Orlando Magic, High School Football, High School Basketball, and college hoops before joining the 1010XL family in June of 2010.  Her favorite sport to watch is college basketball, her favorite movie is Shawshank Redemption, her favoritebands are Led  Zeppelin and the Rolling Stones, and yes, she does like long walks on the beach.  If she could be anything else besides a sports reporter Blaylock would be…a Goonie!
