Whether it’s Mel Tucker as the new interim head coach or whether it’s Gene Smith behind the scenes calling some shots, the Jags are certainly making changes fast. Here are the latest shake ups on the staff:
Jacksonville has dismissed wide receivers coach Johnny Cox. Mike Sheppard, who has served this season as the team’s quarterbacks coach, will take over as wide receivers coach for the remainder of this season. Offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter will continue in his role and will also serve as quarterbacks coach.
